Fall trends… loving them right now. Especially printed pants and burgundy/bordeaux hues – so of course I grabbed a pair of these pants during a Loft promo:
j crew tippi / asos pearl collar / j crew viv heels
loft dot print twill pants / stella & dot bracelet/ j crew bracelet
I ordered the asos pearl collar a while back thinking it would be cake to incorporate, but it has taken me a while to get it right. Added to the wrong outfit, it’s just too much, so I paired it with a simple top to tone it down. What do you think? Are collar necklaces a little over the top, or would you rock one?

I think the necklace looks amazing with your outfit but I would have to agree with you that it could totally ruin an outfit. I'm in love with your tippi sweaters. What size do you wear? We recently got a J Crew here in VAncouver, far from my place, but i'm considering ordering one. Love the outfit. I can't wait to buy a pair of burgundy skinnies.

I adore collar necklaces - I think they are a fun way to add some interest to the neckline and are edgier than a true lace or crochet collar that may seem too precious. You look great!

Those pants are SO CUTE! I ordered a similar pair from Nordstrom during their anniversary sale, but the sizing didn't work out - I will have to check these out in the store soon - hope they come in petites! You look gorgeous!

When I bought it, it was right after I had my last son. I went with a Small, and felt that it hung nicely without clinging to me. My reg size now with J Crew is XS - so I would say purchase your regular size if you can find it on eBay or something. You will still be able to layer pieces under it. :)

Fabulous pants!!! I just got a cheap pair from Old Navy and was going to DIY some polka dots, but I may have to break down and buy these! I have an ASOS collar that I've never been very good at styling, but love what you've done with this one.
