Okay, okay, I’m about a week late but the lovely ladies at MiniMeStyle and SimplySarah had awarded me with the “Tell me about Yourself Award” and with a slight hiatus and lots going on I’m just now getting to it. Since I’m the last to complete it I won’t worry about tagging anyone but feel free to complete if you have not been tagged yet. I always love doing these to share more about myself other than a quick picture of an outfit! As part of the award I’m supposed to share 7 random facts about myself so here goes…
1. I have a serious lead foot. It’s a problem and I’m very much aware of it and have to remind myself to slow down. Back in 2007-2008, I was pulled over four time by the same freaking police officer. We became pretty good friends, I guess you could say, but my driving record suffered. Thankfully that bad boy (the record) is all cleaned up these days.
2. I think my favorite studies in school included Egyptian and Greek Mythology. Straight up fascinated me.
3. I rarely wear my hair up because I have so much of it that it seriously gives me a headache to have that extra weight on top of my head. Drives me crazy.
4. I have offered to be a surrogate for someone VERY close to me, purely for selfish reasons. I so badly want her to be a mother so she can experience the joys of motherhood. And so she can know the sleepless nights and utter joy that come with being a mother. I hope she takes me up on the offer because at my age, it does have an expiration date…
5. In the evenings I have been known to do the “Flying Squirrel” onto the bed – and it scares the poo out of the Hubs. Keeps things interesting, I tell ya’!
6. I’m a lousy, LOUSY golfer – I’m trying to love it, but I’m terrible. My eight year old son outdrives me, and loves to point out that he is much better than I.
7. I contemplated sharing this last fact – but I actually have my eyeliner tattooed on. I did it back in February and my only regret is not doing it sooner. It’s just a thin line on my lash line – nothing crazy. Saves me oodles of time in the mornings. I also had my brows filled in on the ends. I promise it’s not Tammy Faye style.
There you have it. Seven random things you could have probably died without knowing and still lived a very fulfilled life. Haha, Happy Hump Day, and as always, thanks for reading.

Yea! I'm so glad you did this! :) Your driving record reminds me of the romantic storyline in "Bridesmaids". What an amazing, unselfish thing to offer to be a surrogate for your friend. And I'd LOVE to have a thin line of eyeliner tattooed just between my lashes ... I'd love to hear more about the experience. Did it hurt?
That's so awesome that you have your liner tattoo on! Did it hurt at all? A close friend of mine had her eyebrows tattooed on and I absolutely love them!

so happy you did this - love it!! And I have contemplated eye liner tattoo as well but haven't had the nerve to do it ... you'd never guess it wasn't real!!
Okay, my jaw dropped when I read that you offered to be a surrogate. Whoever this person is, I hope she seriously considers it! What a gift and a blessing.
I want to know more about the permanent makeup too! Did it hurt like a mother?!?
How is it that I didnt know you have tattoos on your face?!? It looks great and I have seen you in the past month and would have never guessed that you had it permanently on your face!!
Okay, maybe I should do a separate post on my tattooed face. :) Yes, it hurt, but not as much as I would have thought. It was definitely worth it and the lady I use is amazing. :)
I'm with you on #1. Thankfully no tix. My jaw dropped, too, when I read about surrogacy. That's a heart melter! I hear you, though. Motherhood is ...
(speechless)
I was thinking about having it done too. Do you have the top and bottom done? I was thinking of getting a thin line across the top lash line. My friend had it done but she had to stay home for a few days because her eyes swelled up. Did you have the same experience?
Schnelle - Yes, I have my top and bottom lids done. Most days I just swipe on a coat of darn brown shadow on my lower lash line and voila!
My eyes were swollen the night I did it (Saturday) but I had taken some Benadryl And by Sunday morning I was feeling pretty darn good!
I have been wanting to do it forever but didn't know where to go. All my friends have had it done by a lady in Boise and I haven't had the time to make it over there. I would love your lady's contact info :) It looks beautiful!
Lara - My lady comes over from Boise - I will text you the details. :)
Perfect thank you!!!
Wow - never would have guessed about the liner tattoo - I would get it done in a heartbeat - but am worried about the black fading to green that I've seen on some people (but they had old-school tattoos - so perhaps the techniques have improved since then?)
I ALWAYS line my lash line - it makes such a difference - how cool that you don't have to worry about drawing on the perfect line first thing in the morning - lucky!
Ella - it truly has improved since then. Also, my liner seemed really thick the first few days I had it done but shrunk a bit once the slight swelling went down and now it's perfect. :) I would recommend it to anyone!
