It’s All in the Bag… Makeup Bag that is…

loves

Alright, here are a few new favorites in my makeup bag… some you have probably heard way too much about (Naked 2 Palette), others are new {at least to me…} and here is some link love:

1.  Make Up For Ever – I need shine control for my oily skin, and this works wonders for that as well as evening out skin tone.

2.  Eyes Wide Open – by Philosophy… this is my miracle drug these days since my 6 month old picks and chooses when he likes to sleep through the night.  I saw instant results on my puffy eyes.

3.  Urban Decay’s Naked2 Palette – At first I didn’t like this palette nearly as much as I liked the original, but that has changed immensely.  It just took me a little while to figure out what combos worked for me and my skin tone/eye color.

4.  Sugar Lip Treatment – This product has an SPF 15 built right in and contains vitamins A, C and E – way better than the basic chapstick for me.  Oh, did I mention that it provides wrinkle protection around the lips?  YES!

5.  Dream Bouncy Blush – by Maybelline can be found at your local drugstore.  I was nervous to try a creamy blush because I thought it would be hard to blend or apply as I wanted, but I LOVE this stuff.  And for under $7, you can’t go wrong.  My favorite color is Pink Frosting.

6.  Too Faced Tinted Beauty Balm – This is for the days I need light coverage on the go.  The company’s tag line is “Tint, prime, prevent, nourish and protect in one easy step.”  Sign me up!

7.  bareMinerals Matte Foundation – Again, since I have oily skin, I need products that tone down the shine factor, and this does just that, but it also improves the appearance of skin over time.  I haven’t seen any dramatic improvements, but it is light weight and I actually apply OVER my liquid foundation.

Oh, and the best part – there is a give away that starts tomorrow to win a couple of these items.  Boom!  See you tomorrow.

Great list!
I bought the sugar lip treatment back in December and it's pretty great stuff.
I also use the bareMinerals Matte Foundation - love it!

Always love reading what make up others use, so thanks for sharing.
xoxo

Is the Makeup Forever a foundation or tinted moisturizer? I have oily skin too, maybe I'll give it a try. I love Philosophy products but I've never tried Eyes Wide Open, I definitely will now though!

Okay, is the lip sugar really worth over $20 in your opinion?

Love reading these posts - looks like you've chosen some really great products.

I've been trying the Bare Minerals Matte foundation - I've found that it doesn't give much coverage - but I'm really hoping that the skin-improving Rare Minerals kick in soon LOL!

I hope Sephora still stock the free Sephora SUGAR balms by the time my birthday comes - I've read SO many good things about it - and if I can get it for free on my birthday month - how awesome is that :-)

Schnelle - No, the Make Up Forever is an actual foundation. I like that it gives me full coverage but a light weight feel.

Hollie R - I am constantly picking my lips with other lip products, but with the sugar lip product, it seems to truly moisturize for me. So, YES, I can justify spending a little more on that one.

Haha, Suzie Q - well, at least the Naked2 Palette is included. ;)
